The simple village women of Gujarathi wear an elaborately embroidered backless choli called kanjari. Their Gagras (skirts) are made from blockprinted fabrics. Mirror work, borders, shells, tassels and beads are all used to embellish outfits and make jewellery. Silver is preferred over Gold Jewellery.
